About me

Ihave always loved baking as long as I can remember. I blame my mother for my passion I use to watch her bake as a child. My mum still to this day makes the best chocolate chip cookies, often the dough didn’t even make it to the baking tray before my brother and I had gotten into it. I left school early and trained as a chef, just as I was finishing my apprenticeship I received an offered a Pastry Chef position with one of New Zealand’s top chefs which I turned down at the time and decided I would go to University and do Hospitality Management.

I then travelled around the world working in Hotels.  I have now settled in Melbourne and decided to create a business selling Cupcakes & Cakes which was made from fresh ingredients. Life is too short to eat bad cake and with so much on Melbourne’s doorstep there is no excuse for not using good quality products like free range eggs. Now with a young family I hope to be able to be there for my children the way my mother was for my brothers and me. I aim bring joy through a good cookie, cake or cupcake.
